Thursday, June 18th was an important day for the students who participated in the second edition of the TU Delft Impact Contest, it was the day of the Online Grand Finale! In the age of COVID-19, finalists felt nervous at an entirely different moment, namely during the pitch, which was recorded a week before the finale and without an audience.
The top 2 per category (Ideation and Prototyping) got the opportunity to give an extra pitch live via a Microsoft Teams meeting. Iris and DuckDuckGoose have been chosen as winners by an expert jury consisting of several business partners. There was also an Audience Award, won by Carbon Sweep. ZED won the ASML Makers Award and also got a Wildcard for the 4TU Impact Challenge. Besides ZED, Respire also got a Wildcard for the 4TU Impact Challenge. On the 2nd of july all the winners received their prizes at the newly realized Co-Creation Centre of The Green Village. Congratulations to all winners! Check the aftermovie below
