Next stop: train station Delft Campus

Delft Zuid train station has a new name: Delft Campus. The name change is part of a major renovation of the second station in Delft and of the development around the Delft Campus station area.

The municipality of Delft, together with partners TU Delft, ProRail and NS, gave the go-ahead on Monday 16 December by unveiling a scale model of the new location marker Delft Campus.

Major upgrade

On behalf of TU Delft, Rob Mudde said that he was happy with the development of Station Delft Campus. “TU Delft is working on a sustainable accessible campus. It is good news that the Delft Campus station will get a major upgrade, that many more trains will stop in the future and that the surrounding area will become more attractive. This makes this station a good alternative to the Delft station and enables passenger flows to spread. ”
