Delft Startup Night #10: The TU Delft Impact Contest’s Impact!?

An epic night exploring TU Delft flagship entrepreneurial and innovation competition in conversation with recent participant founders.

Join us for an inspiring evening at TU Delft Startup Night, part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, where we explore the ripple effect of innovation, sustainability, and entrepreneurship through the lens of the TU Delft Impact Contest: https://tudelftcontest.nl/

The TU Delft Impact Contest is a platform that empowers students to develop and showcase their cutting-edge ideas, driving real-world change. But what is its true impact? This night will dive deep into the success stories, challenges, and breakthroughs of contest participants, sharing how the competition has transformed their ideas into reality and influenced both local and global communities.

Expect:

An interactive discussion panel will be held with previous Impact Contest participants who will share their entrepreneurial journeys. Former students founders include:

Aart Rozendaal is a co-founder of CupHub:. It has developed the first portable menstrual cup cleaner, which helps end period poverty sustainably with our innovative portable menstrual cup cleaner.

Lennart Zielstra is a co-founder of Zmobility (formerly called Zeal Mobility). The company is developing the Rise AFO, a revolutionary ankle-foot orthosis that allows for a comfortable walking pattern through a flexible and lightweight design while still supporting the user’s ankle.

Floris Krijgsman is a co-founder of Entropic (formerly called Geotherm Electric). Entropic offers an end-to-end project development platform for heat decarbonization. It integrates an AI-powered engineering module, trusted supplier marketplace and project management environment, simplifying the process from opportunity analysis to project execution.

Esmee Fransen, student entrepreneurship champion and co-organiser of the Impact Contest, will join the panel as an industry expert. Victor Scholten, director of the Delft Centre for Entrepreneurship, will chair the panel.

As usual, at Delft Startup Night, there will also be an interactive audience challenge after the panel.

There will be an opportunity to network with fellow student entrepreneurs and innovators over a slice of pizza and a cold beer.

SO, whether you’re a startup founder, a student with a big idea, or simply curious about the future of technology and innovation, this event offers a unique opportunity to witness the impact of entrepreneurship in action at TU Delft.

Be part of the conversation and see how the next generation of student entrepreneurs is shaping the future!
