Delft Startup Night – Corporate Entrepreneurship Edition
June 1, 2023 - 5:45 pm - 9:00 pm
While startups and entrepreneurship often take the limelight, the panel will explore how many leading companies implement corporate entrepreneurship strategies to accelerate innovation by intentionally tapping into startup ecosystems as customers, investors, partners or buyers. At the individual level, the panel will also discuss why recruiting or training employees with entrepreneurial skills and competencies is a powerful asset to help an organisation innovate and stay competitive.
Why should you care? The case will be made that even if launching a startup is not your ambition, gaining experiences that help build an entrepreneurial mindset and behaviours will benefit future employability and career growth. To re-purpose the famous saying from Steve Jobs, you don’t have to choose between being a pirate and joining the navy.
